Key Responsibilities
* Architect and execute a robust HR strategy that aligns with the Bank's vision, business objectives, and regulatory requirements, driving business growth and excellence.
* Drive human capital planning, workforce optimization, and organizational development as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director & CEO and the Board.
* Spearhead talent management initiatives, including acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and retention, to foster a high-performing workforce.
* Design and review HR policies, compensation structures, and benefits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Develop and implement performance management systems, appraisal frameworks, and incentive schemes that promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Optimize manpower planning, deployment, and productivity across branches and Head Office, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
* Champion learning and development initiatives, including training needs analysis, leadership capability building, and employee upskilling.
* Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture, promoting employee engagement, ethics, and disciplinary frameworks that support business objectives.
* Ensure seamless compliance with regulatory requirements, labor laws, and internal audit standards, mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to corporate governance principles.
* Oversee HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, leave management, and employee lifecycle processes, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Lead digital transformation initiatives in HR, leveraging HRIS enhancements and data-driven analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
* Manage industrial relations, employee grievances, and communication mechanisms, ensuring constructive dialogue and issue resolution.
* Collaborate with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and training institutes, to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
* Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and corporate governance, embodying the Bank's values and code of conduct.
Requirements
Experience
At least 15 years
Education
- Masters
- Postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management or related discipline
Additional Requirements
- In depth knowledge in Bangladesh Bank regulations, Labor Law, governance, compliance and strategic transformation
- Proven track record of HR modern system handling
