Electrical Drafter

* Drive the creation of precise and compliant electrical drawings for diverse projects, including industrial, commercial, renewable energy, and power infrastructure initiatives. * Architect detailed technical diagrams, such as single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and interconnection schematics, to facilitate construction and installation. * Design and develop layouts for medium and low-voltage substations, transformers, switchgear, and solar PV systems, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and codes. * Produce high-quality panel general arrangement drawings, internal wiring diagrams, and terminal plans that meet quality system requirements. * Lead the development of electrical drawings that comply with international standards, such as IEC, IEEE, and NEC, as well as local codes and regulations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, site teams, and project managers, to interpret design concepts, load calculations, and equipment datasheets. * Manage and maintain accurate drawing registers, revision histories, and version control, ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures. * Develop and deliver technical presentations, such as the weekly electromechanical department presentation, to stakeholders and team members. * Ensure seamless integration of comments and feedback from design reviews, clients, and consultants into electrical drawings and designs. * Participate in technical meetings and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for electrical drafting and design.
