Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead legal and compliance initiatives, driving adherence to applicable laws, corporate governance standards, and internal policies to minimize risks and ensure sustainability.
* Architect and maintain robust relationships with law firms, government agencies, law enforcement authorities, and external stakeholders to safeguard the company's interests and facilitate collaboration.
* Develop and implement comprehensive legal document management systems, drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, and other regulatory documents to ensure alignment with approved formats and standards.
* Provide expert legal counsel and guidance to internal stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and strategic growth.
* Drive compliance and risk management efforts, scrutinizing legal documents, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies to protect the company's assets and reputation.
* Lead intellectual property rights management, ensuring the protection and enforcement of trademarks, copyrights, and other IP assets.
* Collaborate with external legal counsel on advisory and litigation matters, handling case management, and tracking progress to achieve favorable outcomes.
* Navigate complex litigation processes, including pleading, case tracking, and dispute resolution, to minimize legal exposure and optimize results.
* Foster strong relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement agencies, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation on legal and compliance matters.
* Stay abreast of court procedures, laws, and regulations, maintaining expertise in relevant areas, including Subordinate Courts, Metropolitan Magistrate Courts, and the Supreme Court.
* Develop and implement effective strategies for case withdrawal, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of legal matters upon management approval.
