Key Responsibilities
* Drive the development and implementation of effective MHPSS services, creating opportunities for individuals to thrive and reach their full potential.
* Architect and deliver comprehensive training programs, workshops, and materials on MHPSS components, empowering Community Para Counselors and Community Psychosocial Volunteers to provide high-quality support.
* Lead the supervision and monitoring of Community Para Counselors and Community Psychosocial Volunteers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and adherence to organizational standards.
* Provide expert counseling services, both facility-based and home-based, to support the well-being of FDMNs and field staff, and offer Psychological First Aid (PFA) in emergency situations.
* Facilitate research initiatives, collaborating with Field Research Assistants (FRAs) to advance the understanding of MHPSS services and their impact.
* Manage and analyze data, preparing daily, bi-weekly, and weekly reports, including MIS data, donor reports, and 4W reports, to inform program development and evaluation.
* Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), interviews, and documentation to gather insights and assess program effectiveness.
* Foster strategic partnerships, hosting national and international visitors and donors, and arranging meetings with key stakeholders to promote program services and collaboration.
* Oversee the 24/7 emergency helpline, ensuring timely and effective support, and coordinate the arrangement of seminars, workshops, and training sessions to enhance service delivery.
* Champion safeguarding implementation, ensuring the safety and well-being of team members, program participants, and stakeholders, and provide guidance and expertise to establish a secure working environment.
* Develop and submit weekly and monthly working plans, and perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
* Receive clinical supervision from the Head of Mental Health, BRAC Institute of Educational Development (BRAC IED), Specialist, and other consultants, and provide requisitions, bill adjustments, and salary distributions for volunteers.
* Conduct field visits, monitoring volunteer activities, and providing on-job coaching to enhance service quality, and coordinate with field sector focal points and government stakeholders to strengthen support for FDMNs.
* Collaborate with other programs as needed, and ensure the safety and well-being of program participants, stakeholders, and team members, upholding the organization's commitment to safeguarding and preventing harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation.
