Key Responsibilities

* Drive climate-resilient agriculture initiatives by providing technical support to farmers, conducting regular field visits, and monitoring programme activities. * Deliver training, orientation, and refresher sessions to programme participants, empowering them with knowledge and skills to adopt climate-adaptive agricultural practices. * Architect and disseminate innovative agricultural technologies to farmers, enhancing their productivity and resilience to climate change. * Lead the selection of programme participants, ensuring adherence to established criteria, and prepare comprehensive reports, including crop cut and cost-benefit analyses. * Champion awareness-raising and capacity-building activities, fostering a culture of sustainability and climate resilience among farmers and stakeholders. * Manage the distribution of agricultural inputs and materials, supporting climate-adaptive agricultural practices and promoting environmentally friendly technologies. * Foster strategic partnerships and networks with key stakeholders, including farmers, partners, and community leaders, to drive programme outputs and impact at the field level. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and communication to achieve programme goals. * Embed safeguarding principles into programme implementation, ensuring a safe working environment for team members and stakeholders, and promoting a culture of respect, integrity, and accountability. * Implement and uphold safeguarding policies and standards, providing guidance and support to team members, and reporting any incidents or concerns through established procedures.
