Procurement Officer

• Spearhead supplier scouting efforts to identify and onboard top-tier local and international vendors for fabrics, trims, and accessories. • Drive strategic negotiations to secure optimal pricing without compromising on quality or lead times. • Architect and implement a vendor audit framework to assess performance, reliability, and compliance with ethical standards. • Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) to determine precise procurement requirements and inform purchasing decisions. • Expedite the creation and issuance of accurate Purchase Orders to meet production deadlines and ensure seamless supply chain operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sourced materials meet approved specifications and quality standards. • Track and monitor order status to guarantee timely delivery and alignment with production schedules. • Facilitate import/export operations by coordinating with the commercial department on Letter of Credit opening, shipping documentation, and customs clearance. • Optimize inventory management by aligning procurement with actual production needs, minimizing waste, and eliminating "dead stock". • Resolve disputes and claims with suppliers related to defective materials or short-shipments, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal business impact. • Stay abreast of global market trends and raw material price fluctuations to inform purchasing decisions and drive cost savings. • Develop and deliver weekly/monthly procurement reports to senior management, highlighting cost savings, procurement status, and key performance metrics.
