Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead R&D initiatives to drive innovation in knit fabric development, process optimization, and product enhancement * Architect new fabric structures, finishes, and value-added products that meet evolving market demands and customer needs * Drive cost optimization, process improvement, and quality enhancement efforts to boost production efficiency and competitiveness * Design and execute lab trials, pilot production, and bulk implementation of new developments to ensure seamless scalability * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and marketing, to develop buyer-specific products and solutions * Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies to inform innovative textile solutions * Develop and implement sustainable and eco-friendly textile processes that minimize environmental impact * Manage documentation of R&D activities, reports, and technical data to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity * Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical expertise to resolve problems and improve overall quality * Foster strong partnerships with internal teams, including Dyeing, Knitting, and Finishing, to drive product development and innovation * Evaluate and integrate new chemicals, dyes, yarns, and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends and customer expectations * Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and technical partners to drive business growth and innovation * Ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and buyer specifications to maintain a competitive edge

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering
  • Master’s degree

  • Knowledge of modern textile technologies and machinery
  • Familiarity with international buyer standards
