Community Facilitator

* Drive community engagement and participation in project activities through organization of meetings, training sessions, awareness campaigns, and simulation exercises on disaster preparedness and anticipatory action. * Implement project interventions at the community, Union, and Upazila levels, ensuring timely and effective delivery of activities in coordination with local stakeholders. * Facilitate the dissemination of early warning messages and advisories to targeted communities, leveraging partnerships with relevant stakeholders to enhance impact. * Strengthen community-level disaster preparedness systems by empowering community groups, volunteers, and local committees to take proactive measures. * Spearhead community-level activities, including contingency planning, risk mapping, and resource mobilization, to enhance resilience and preparedness. * Foster close relationships with Union Parishad, Upazila administration, and other stakeholders to ensure collaborative implementation of project activities. * Design and deliver training sessions, meetings, and field-level data collection activities, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis. * Collect and document case studies, lessons learned, and community feedback to inform project improvement and decision-making. * Utilize monitoring tools to ensure data quality and contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, highlighting progress and achievements. * Mobilize communities to participate in resilience-building, livelihood, and advocacy activities, promoting sustainable development and project impact. * Identify vulnerable households and community needs, informing the development of targeted anticipatory action interventions. * Promote awareness on climate risks, disaster preparedness, hygiene practices, and resilience, empowering communities to take proactive measures to mitigate risks. * Lead mock drills and preparedness exercises, ensuring communities are equipped to respond to disasters and emergencies. * Support the development of community-level plans and strategies, enhancing preparedness and response capacities.
