Key Responsibilities
* Drive project implementation at the Upazila level, ensuring timely and effective delivery of anticipatory humanitarian actions in climate-vulnerable areas.
* Lead field-level staff to achieve project objectives, overseeing adherence to work plans, timelines, and guidelines for material distribution.
* Manage monitoring, documentation, and reporting of project activities, ensuring data quality and compliance with project requirements.
* Foster close coordination with local government institutions, administration, and stakeholders to facilitate project success.
* Architect and implement effective early warning dissemination systems, ensuring timely alerts and advisories reach target communities.
* Develop and execute sector-specific community and household-level anticipatory action plans, aligning with project objectives.
* Facilitate community contingency planning, risk assessments, and preparedness measures, promoting resilience and early action.
* Oversee the implementation of risk assessment plans at the village and beneficiary levels, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies.
* Supervise field teams to guarantee high-quality, timely, and compliant project delivery.
* Collaborate with the project team to design and execute drills, simulations, and preparedness exercises, enhancing community readiness.
* Cultivate community engagement through ward- and union-level meetings, awareness sessions, and participatory planning processes, promoting inclusive decision-making.
* Strengthen partnerships with Union Parishad, Upazila administration, and relevant government departments to leverage resources and expertise.
* Build and maintain robust relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of anticipatory action systems.
* Mobilize community groups to enhance preparedness, resilience, and early action capacities, with a focus on inclusive participation.
* Promote the inclusion of women, youth, elderly, and persons with disabilities in project activities, ensuring equal access to benefits and opportunities.

Education
- Masters
- Master’s in Disaster Management, Development Studies, Environmental Science or Geography / Geology or other relevant subject
