Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development and delivery of engaging lecture and tutorial sessions for a minimum of 4-6 courses, totaling 12-18 hours of class contact per week. * Architect comprehensive course materials, including outlines, calendars, lesson plans, and schedules, to facilitate student learning and success. * Drive the examination process by designing questions, invigilating tests and exams, and evaluating student performance through script and assignment grading. * Manage student consultation and supervision, maintaining a minimum of 1 hour of office hours per week per course, and ensuring transparency through posted schedules and announcements. * Mentor and supervise students in project work, internships, dissertations, and theses, providing guidance and support as needed. * Foster a culture of extracurricular engagement by guiding and supervising students in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. * Execute administrative tasks, including periodic duties and special projects, within a 35-hour workweek, and adapt to evolving departmental and university needs. * Represent the university as a faculty ambassador, promoting student admissions and supporting university events and activities. * Collaborate with university stakeholders, attending meetings and providing assistance as required, to drive university initiatives and objectives. * Embody the role of faculty representative, championing university interests and values at various events and activities. * Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by university authorities, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the university's mission.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English
  • Bachelor of Law (LLB) in Law
  • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in EEE
  • Master of Arts (MA) in English
  • Master of Law (LLM) in Law

Additional

  • 4 years Hon’s/Masters degree in related subject with minimum three 1st Classes/Divisions/ ‘A’ Grades
  • 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant field
