* Spearhead taxation, VAT, and compliance initiatives to drive regulatory adherence. * Architect and maintain a robust documentation framework, ensuring seamless control and record-keeping for income tax and tax planning purposes. * Drive the computation of taxable income, preparation, and submission of corporate tax returns, and quarterly WHT returns to regulatory authorities. * Foster strategic relationships with regulatory bodies to secure tax benefits and facilitate open communication on tax and VAT-related matters. * Oversee timely tax deductions at source and deposits to government treasuries, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines. * Analyze and interpret VAT-related government regulations, integrating them into daily business operations to ensure alignment with statutory requirements. * Manage all VAT activities for assigned business units, ensuring accurate and timely execution. * Develop and update VAT and tax-related ledgers, registers, and books to maintain transparency and accountability. * Coordinate and navigate VAT audits conducted by government authorities, including the NBR and AG, to ensure seamless compliance. * Ensure timely submission of monthly returns to customs, excise, and VAT authorities, adhering to regulatory requirements. * Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational objectives.
