Web Programmer

* Spearhead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our university's Database Application Software, ensuring a seamless user experience for students, faculty, and visitors. * Architect and write high-quality code using programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, PHP, and JavaScript to drive innovation and solve complex problems. * Design, implement, and manage Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) like Oracle, SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL to optimize data storage and retrieval. * Drive server maintenance and optimization, leveraging expertise in UNIX Server operating systems like Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to ensure peak performance. * Identify and resolve software issues through rigorous testing and debugging, ensuring error-free program execution and minimal downtime. * Lead the updating and refinement of existing software applications, introducing new features, and enhancing performance to meet evolving user needs and stay ahead of the curve. * Champion software security, backup, and optimization, implementing robust measures to safeguard against threats and ensure data integrity. * Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to co-create innovative software solutions that meet user needs. * Analyze and interpret user requirements, translating them into functional software specifications that drive business value and user engagement. * Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, providing clear explanations of code and program functionality to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
