Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the development and implementation of community-based protection (CBP) and protection monitoring (PM) programs in Bangladesh, driving community resilience and informing advocacy efforts. * Oversee the operational management of CBP and PM initiatives, ensuring high-quality case management, referrals, and follow-ups for vulnerable refugee populations. * Lead the design and execution of emergency assessments, focus groups, and other initiatives to address specific protection issues and identify areas for improvement. * Manage and mentor a team of protection professionals, including senior officers, to ensure effective program delivery and staff development. * Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and coordination of protection efforts. * Drive the analysis and interpretation of protection data, providing actionable insights to inform program decisions and advocacy strategies. * Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, UN agencies, and NGOs, to advance protection goals and objectives. * Ensure compliance with IRC policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant international and national laws and regulations. * Architect and implement capacity-building initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff and partners, promoting a culture of protection and resilience. * Steer the development of reports, proposals, and other materials to secure funding, communicate program impact, and advocate for the rights of refugee populations.

Requirements

Education

  • Master of Social Science (MSS)
  • Bachelor of Law (LLB)
  • Master of Social Science in Development studies, Gender studies, Psychology, Anthropology, Social work, or Bachelor of Law or any other related field.
