Key Responsibilities
* Drive the integration of gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) across all PROTHISTHAA project interventions, ensuring adherence to Action Against Hunger's (ACF) policies and standards.
* Architect strategies to address policy gaps, system barriers, and opportunities related to GESI in anticipatory action, early warning, and disaster risk financing.
* Champion the use of GESI tools and principles in project planning and implementation, conducting thorough gender and social analysis to inform project activities.
* Manage the implementation of GESI-related activities, ensuring compliance with ACF and donor guidelines, and providing support to project teams and partners.
* Facilitate the design and implementation of meetings, workshops, and events to mainstream GESI in key government policies and operational mechanisms.
* Lead capacity-building initiatives for project teams and partners, providing training and developing guidelines to promote gender equality, disability, age inclusion, and social inclusion.
* Collaborate on research, studies, and assessments to generate evidence on inclusion and gender equality, and drive the incorporation of findings into relevant policies and systems.
* Develop and disseminate high-quality knowledge products, including project reports, concept notes, case studies, and policy briefs, to inform stakeholders and promote GESI.
* Drive the collection and dissemination of best practices, case stories, and lessons learned, ensuring timely sharing of knowledge to inform project decisions and improvements.
* Support the development of high-quality data, risk modeling, and impact studies, ensuring the integration of GESI principles and evidence-based decision-making.

- Knowledge in national and relevant laws and policies
- Experience of coordination, participatory facilitation, report writing
- Experience of working with government ministries and systems in Bangladesh
- Familiarity with anticipatory action, early warning systems, or disaster risk financing
- Knowledge of current humanitarian and development discourses and challenges
- Strong understanding of gender equality, social inclusion, and right –based approaches
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
