Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead project planning and implementation, ensuring timely and efficient execution under the guidance of the Project Manager and in accordance with the work plan. * Architect and apply project follow-up and supervision tools, collaborating with the Project Manager to develop and refine these resources. * Lead the beneficiaries selection process, supervising local partner activities and participating in the selection process to ensure fairness and transparency. * Develop and maintain a beneficiaries database system, analyzing data to inform project decisions and drive improvement. * Identify and escalate field-level problems or constraints to the Project Manager, providing proactive solutions to mitigate risks. * Coordinate field activities, delivering technical support to local partner staff and providing regular assistance to implementing partners and project beneficiaries. * Drive data entry and analysis for project monitoring, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of progress and outcomes. * Craft comprehensive reports and presentations, showcasing project achievements and lessons learned. * Design and deliver gender session training, promoting inclusive and equitable project implementation. * Foster effective communication and partnerships with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders, serving as a focal point for collaboration and information exchange. * Collaborate with the Anticipatory Action Working Group and Taskforce, planning and working together to achieve shared objectives. * Spark innovation through active participation in team brainstorming sessions, generating ideas for program improvement and contributing to the design and implementation of new initiatives. * Streamline day-to-day project operations, providing administrative and logistical support, and organizing meetings, workshops, and training events with stakeholders. * Ensure meticulous project documentation, maintaining accurate records and filing systems. * Support the development and implementation of project monitoring and evaluation plans, writing, editing, and disseminating program content, including success stories and case studies.

  • Masters in Disaster Management
  • Development Studies
  • Environmental Science
  • Social Science

  • Technical background on Anticipatory Action and Climate Change
