Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead end-to-end procurement of limestone and crushed stone, driving strategic partnerships with local and international suppliers to achieve cost efficiency and supply continuity.
* Architect and implement sourcing strategies, identifying and onboarding new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and uninterrupted supply chains.
* Drive market analysis and trend monitoring, leveraging insights to inform procurement decisions and mitigate risks associated with limestone and crushed stone pricing and availability.
* Lead international procurement efforts, navigating complex import processes, negotiating contracts, and coordinating logistics with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents.
* Foster strong relationships with local suppliers and quarry operators, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and favorable pricing terms for locally sourced materials.
* Manage vendor performance, conducting evaluations and resolving disputes related to supply, quality, or payments to ensure seamless partnerships.
* Champion cost savings and budget control, negotiating contracts, monitoring procurement budgets, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to drive demand planning, ensure uninterrupted supply chains, and optimize inventory management.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and import regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and supporting audits with procurement records and contracts.
Requirements
Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Management
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management, Management
Additional
- 4–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in cement, construction materials, or heavy industry.
- Strong experience in both local and international sourcing/imports.
