Advisor - Green Construction & Market Incentives

* Drive the development of clear standards, certification procedures, and quality assurance systems in the construction sector to promote sustainable practices. * Lead advisory services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public institutions on market development and promotion of eco-friendly construction materials. * Analyze existing incentive mechanisms to identify opportunities for promoting environmentally friendly building materials and advise on strategies for improvement. * Architect new incentive mechanisms to support innovative business models for the production and distribution of eco-friendly building materials. * Collaborate with government institutions, testing bodies, professional associations, and industry representatives to enhance the political framework and improve building materials quality. * Manage the implementation of project goals and requirements, making decisions that drive short-term results within a limited project area. * Identify day-to-day problems and develop solutions to ensure project success, advising supervisors and stakeholders as needed. * Develop and implement market incentives to promote green construction practices, driving the adoption of sustainable materials and technologies. * Provide expert guidance on project planning, steering, and monitoring, ensuring alignment with GIZ rules and regulations. * Foster partnerships with key stakeholders to promote the sustainable transition of the construction sector in Bangladesh, contributing to climate-resilient urban development and responsible use of natural resources.
