Advisor - Quality Control & Green Certification

* Drive the development of clear standards, certification procedures, and quality assurance systems in the construction sector to promote sustainable practices. * Lead technical advisory services for national authorities, focusing on data collection and analysis of CO2 and particulate emissions from traditional brickworks. * Architect internationally comparable standards for environmentally friendly building materials that meet environmental targets and standards, providing technical expertise to key stakeholders. * Manage the modernization of testing and research facilities, and drive the development of additional capacities in the public and private sector for building materials testing. * Collaborate with government institutions, testing bodies, and industry representatives to improve the political framework and ensure the improvement of building materials quality. * Develop and implement project plans, steering, and monitoring frameworks to achieve project objectives, ensuring alignment with GIZ rules and regulations. * Identify and resolve day-to-day problems, providing innovative solutions to drive project success and contribute to the overall programme objectives. * Provide expert advice to senior management on project planning, implementation, and monitoring, ensuring effective decision-making and goal achievement. * Foster strong relationships with target groups, including government institutions, professional associations, and industry representatives, to promote the adoption of sustainable construction practices. * Drive the introduction of procedures for quality control and green certification in the construction sector, ensuring a responsible use of natural resources and contributing to sustainable urban development.
