Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the development of an inception report, incorporating a comprehensive desk review, literature analysis, and methodology for primary data collection, to inform the assessment of innovative fish drying technologies. * Design and validate data collection tools and techniques, both quantitative and qualitative, in collaboration with Mukti Cox's Bazar and FAO, to ensure data quality and accuracy. * Drive the data collection process, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, and obtain necessary ethical clearances and institutional permissions as required. * Pilot-test data collection tools to guarantee their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments before full-scale implementation. * Develop a comprehensive draft report, aligned with the assessment objectives, and share it with stakeholders, incorporating feedback and suggestions to enhance the report's quality. * Organize a validation workshop in Cox's Bazar, bringing together key stakeholders, including workers, traders, and government officials, to present the draft report and gather feedback. * Integrate feedback from the validation workshop and finalize the assessment report, ensuring it is informative, accurate, and actionable. * Architect a user-friendly capacity development training module, tailored to the needs of end-users, in both English and Bangla, to facilitate knowledge transfer and skills development. * Submit the final report, including a clean dataset, and perform any additional duties as required by the project and organization. * Champion safeguarding and PSEA implementation, ensuring a safe and respectful work environment, and provide guidance and support to team members on safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
