Nursery Homeroom Teacher

* Lead the Nursery homeroom, driving daily routines, transitions, and student well-being to create a vibrant and stimulating classroom environment. * Architect an age-appropriate curriculum (Early Years Foundation Stage - EYFS) that fosters cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in our youngest learners. * Deliver engaging lessons in core learning areas, including: * Literacy and Communication: phonics, storytelling, vocabulary development, and emergent writing. * Numeracy: number sense, shapes, patterns, measurement, and comparison. * Understanding the World: nature, environment, community, and scientific inquiry. * Personal, Social, and Emotional Development: self-regulation, social skills, independence, and fine motor skills. * Drive creative expression through Expressive Arts and Design, including painting, drawing, collage, role play, and music. * Design and deliver play-based lesson plans that incorporate storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and sensory activities. * Manage student assessment, tracking progress, and maintaining detailed portfolios to provide regular updates to parents and leadership. * Collaborate with the Coordinator of Early Years and Assistant Teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience. * Cultivate an organized, colorful, and inclusive classroom environment that inspires curiosity and discovery. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and involving them in their child's learning journey. * Contribute to the development of the Early Years department, sharing best practices and expertise to drive continuous improvement.
