Medical Officer, NICU & PICU

* Drive high-quality patient care in NICU and PICU settings, leveraging expertise to deliver exceptional outcomes. * Lead the management of critically ill patients under supervision, ensuring timely and effective interventions. * Deliver compassionate and informative counseling to patient families, addressing their concerns and providing emotional support. * Conduct thorough patient assessments, gathering detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and documenting findings within established timeframes. * Collaborate with consultants to manage patient care, working under the guidance of the Registrar to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. * Provide on-call support for neuroscience patients admitted through emergency services, following consultant guidance to inform treatment decisions. * Develop and maintain specialized skills, including ET Tube intubation, Pulse oximetry, and Neonatal BP management. * Foster strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams, communicating effectively with colleagues, seniors, and support staff to promote a cohesive care environment. * Manage on-call duties, including weekly and monthly shifts, to ensure consistent patient coverage and support. * Embrace a flexible and adaptable approach, undertaking additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to drive team success.
