Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead a high-performing team of Assistant Engineers to drive efficient Diesel & Gas power generation and sub-station operations. • Partner with the section head to architect and implement strategic plans for Diesel & Gas generator operations, ensuring seamless execution. • Oversee daily sub-station operations, driving reliability and performance in power generation. • Proactively manage and maintain power generation equipment to optimize output and minimize downtime. • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules, conducting regular inspections to ensure equipment longevity. • Rapidly respond to and resolve power-related issues, utilizing technical expertise to troubleshoot and rectify faults. • Champion safety protocols, enforcing industry regulations and conducting risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards. • Foster collaborative relationships with authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and align with business objectives. • Drive cross-functional partnerships with engineering and production teams to understand power demands and deliver tailored solutions. • Provide expert technical guidance and support to subordinate teams, enhancing their skills and knowledge through targeted training initiatives. • Maintain meticulous records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and incidents, ensuring data-driven decision making. • Generate insightful reports on power consumption, equipment efficiency, and downtime analysis, informing strategic improvements. • Analyze trends and patterns in data, leveraging findings to recommend innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
