Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead business growth by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities to expand the asset portfolio and acquire new corporate relationships. * Drive portfolio development by preparing and submitting high-quality Call Reports and Credit Memoranda to facilitate informed decision-making. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including CLAD, to ensure seamless preparation, vetting, and execution of loan and security documentation. * Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of clients' businesses, financial health, and industry trends, and aligning portfolio strategies with the Bank's objectives. * Proactively monitor and manage assigned portfolios to identify early warning signals, drive recoveries, and minimize losses. * Develop and execute effective recovery plans for underperforming accounts, working closely with CRMD, SAMD, and the Recovery Unit to ensure timely resolution and exit. * Ensure compliance with credit approval terms, regulatory requirements, and internal standards in day-to-day transaction management. * Foster strong relationships with internal departments, including Credit Risk, Operations, Trade, and Treasury, to facilitate swift approval processing and seamless transaction execution. * Champion a culture of risk management and regulatory adherence, maintaining audit readiness and ensuring strict compliance with internal control frameworks and policies. * Mentor and guide Relationship Officers (ROs) and Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs) in portfolio management best practices and day-to-day development to drive business growth and excellence.

  • Bachelor's degree from a UGC approved institution

  • 5-10 years of experience in Corporate/Commercial Banking

  • Disciplined portfolio management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
