Key Responsibilities
* Architect and oversee the development of standardized syllabi, session plans, and lesson plans aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards.
* Drive the effective implementation of the school's curriculum across all grades and subjects, ensuring consistency and excellence.
* Collaborate with departmental teams to design, review, and refine academic programs, fostering a culture of innovation and improvement.
* Lead regular classroom observations, providing constructive feedback to teachers and identifying areas for professional growth and development.
* Develop and implement targeted training and workshop programs to address teacher needs, enhancing instructional effectiveness and student outcomes.
* Mentor and guide new teachers, facilitating their integration into the school community and supporting their professional development.
* Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and materials to meet the evolving needs of teachers and management teams.
* Oversee the development, administration, and analysis of internal and external assessments, ensuring data-driven decision making.
* Develop and implement strategies to address areas of academic underperformance, driving student success and progress.
* Manage the creation and maintenance of yearly calendars, encompassing both academic and non-academic events.
* Coordinate and plan school events, extracurricular activities, and other initiatives, promoting a vibrant and inclusive school culture.
* Develop, review, and refine school policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures, maintaining a culture of accountability and compliance.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration with external partners, including the British Council, Cambridge, and other stakeholders.
* Conduct and administer external exams, such as Cambridge English, and provide training and support to teachers as required.
* Provide administrative support for school improvement initiatives, developing reports and documentation to inform decision making.
* Lead internal audits, preparing audit reports and corrective action plans to ensure ISO compliance and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate Management Review Meetings, ensuring that all ISO requirements are met and maintained, and performing additional duties as assigned by management.
