Billing Officer

• Drive accurate and timely invoice processing for distributors, depots, and retail partners, ensuring seamless financial transactions. • Architect and maintain precise billing structures, incorporating pricing, discounts, VAT, and promotional schemes to ensure compliance and minimize errors. • Lead thorough verification of sales orders, customer ledgers, and supporting documents to guarantee billing accuracy and integrity. • Manage and update billing records within the ERP system, ensuring data consistency and accessibility. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Distribution, to confirm orders and dispatch status, facilitating efficient order fulfillment. • Resolve billing discrepancies, process adjustments, and issue credit/debit notes, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction. • Monitor and follow up on pending invoices, driving timely closure and optimizing cash flow. • Oversee cash deposit collections from distributors and field teams, ensuring timely bank deposits, accurate documentation, and compliance with company policies. • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, audit requirements, and company policies, maintaining a high level of financial governance and compliance. • Develop and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports, providing insights and supporting informed business decisions. • Support the accounts receivable team in reconciliations and collections, driving efficient cash management and minimizing bad debt. • Execute additional tasks and projects as assigned by Management, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to organizational goals.
