Import-Export Consultant (Company Setup & Operations)

* Spearhead the registration process, securing essential licenses and certificates, including Trade License, TIN, VAT BIN, IRC, and ERC, to establish a solid foundation for trade operations. * Drive compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring all products meet mandatory standards, including nuclear radiation tests and approvals from authorities like BSTI and the Department of Environment. * Foster strategic partnerships with suppliers, banks, shipping lines, and C&F agents to facilitate seamless cargo release and efficient trade operations. * Classify spices and food raw materials using the Bangladesh Customs Tariff (H.S. Code), ensuring accurate and compliant customs declarations. * Stay abreast of the latest import policies, BSTI/BFSA regulations, and food safety standards, guaranteeing all imports meet local requirements. * Identify and cultivate relationships with international exporters, negotiating competitive pricing and terms for high-quality food materials and spices. * Navigate BSTI certification processes and BFSA import requirements, ensuring compliance and facilitating smooth trade operations. * Architect and manage export & import documentation, including bills of exchange, invoices, packing lists, and other critical documents. * Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate import-related activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. * Lead the sales effort for imported products, analyzing market demand and developing effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
