Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead production planning and management for dyeing and washing departments, driving volume, quality, cost, and delivery excellence.
* Architect and execute workflow strategies to achieve budgeted targets and optimize efficiency.
* Orchestrate dyeing and washing schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
* Implement robust inventory control procedures to ensure seamless production and meet customer requirements.
* Drive quality control initiatives to guarantee raw materials and finished goods meet customer standards.
* Lead the procurement and delivery of outsourced orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
* Oversee maintenance of departmental machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Embed lean principles and operating practices to streamline production processes and drive continuous improvement.
* Direct production activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality output.
* Manage operational costs within approved budgets, analyzing expenditures and implementing corrective actions.
* Collaborate with the BU HR Manager to administer personnel policies, procedures, and HR activities.
* Champion safety, quality, and compliance initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
* Evaluate team performance, identify development opportunities, and drive staff growth and discipline.
* Cultivate a positive and responsive team culture, balancing productivity with employee engagement.
* Drive cost savings through waste reduction, process optimization, and efficient resource allocation.

Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Additional
- Strong knowledge of dyeing technology and processes
- In-depth understanding of dyes, chemicals, and their applications
- Proven production planning and execution skills
- Proficiency in SAP or relevant ERP systems
- Sound knowledge of costing, material handling, floor management, and resource utilization
- Ability to effectively manage manpower, machinery, and production operations
- Up-to-date knowledge of modern dyeing machines and equipment
