Key Responsibilities

* Lead the child protection program, driving technical and management excellence in accordance with best practices and organizational policies. * Architect Detailed Implementation Plans (DIPs) in collaboration with the Project Coordinator, ensuring timely updates and quarterly reviews. * Drive the implementation of child protection activities, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards, with a focus on meeting monthly plans. * Identify programming gaps and proactively develop innovative solutions to enhance protection activities. * Oversee the effective implementation of Community-Based Child Protection Committees (CBCPC), Adolescent Clubs, and Community Centres, ensuring alignment with psychosocial intervention guidelines. * Empower adolescents through life skills training, livelihood programs, and capacity-building initiatives, addressing gender-specific norms and behaviors. * Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and meetings for CP staff, CBCPC, and community leaders, promoting collaborative approaches to child protection. * Manage and supervise Prevention staff, ensuring close coordination and effective support. * Develop and implement case management programs for child survivors of violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to standards. * Design and deliver adolescent club programs, incorporating life skills sessions and livelihood training, with a focus on psychosocial well-being. * Organize workshops, meetings, and dialogues with government agencies, civil societies, and community stakeholders to address child protection concerns. * Ensure compliance with Child Protection Minimum Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), submitting monthly work plans and accomplishment reports to the Project Coordinator. * Analyze reports, provide feedback, and ensure logistic support for CFS and ADC activities, including library resources, audio-visual materials, and other essential supplies. * Conduct regular field visits (minimum 3 days a week) to monitor CFS and ADC activities, providing hands-on support to CP staff and submitting weekly progress reports. * Facilitate monthly Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with community members to address child protection concerns and gather feedback. * Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program quality, identify gaps, and inform strategic decision-making. * Submit regular reports, including weekly progress reports and field visit reports, to the Project Coordinator, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Master's in any Discipline

Additional

  • Having Experience working on Child Protection in a Refugee context
  • Having experience in quality report writing and developing need-based tools
  • Having experience in a managerial role
  • Sound Knowledge of Computer Skills
  • Able to communicate in the English language (Speaking & Writing)
  • Able to speak & understand the Rohingya/ Chittagonian Language
