Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day operations of Community Centres, ensuring safe, inclusive, and functional spaces for refugees that foster social cohesion and well-being.
* Drive the implementation of centre-based and non-centre-based activities, including awareness sessions, cultural events, and social dialogues, to promote community engagement and participation.
* Manage the scheduling and utilization of Community Centre spaces to meet diverse community needs, ensuring equitable access for all.
* Architect and implement recreational activities for children, adolescents, youth, women, and men, promoting well-being, inclusion, and social cohesion.
* Facilitate a wide range of community activities, including indoor and outdoor games, training sessions, libraries, and social events, to cater to diverse community interests.
* Ensure that all activities are inclusive and responsive to the needs of women, men, children, adolescents, elderly persons, and persons with disabilities, promoting equal opportunities for all.
* Collaborate with volunteers to assess impact, identify gaps, and improve the quality of service delivery, while maintaining regular communication to address challenges and promote motivation and performance.
* Oversee administrative management of Community Centre activities, including records, registers, inventories, and store management, to ensure seamless operations.
* Coordinate and support the Akash TV program, including planning, community mobilization, and documentation, to enhance community outreach and engagement.
* Provide frontline administrative and operational support to staff and volunteers, including attendance tracking, leave management, and cost processing, to ensure efficient operations.
* Manage store operations, liaising with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth Community Centre operations.
* Ensure regular maintenance of the Community Centre and surroundings, including WaSH facilities and drainage systems, to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
* Coordinate closely with key stakeholders, including CiC office, UNHCR staff, and government, national, and international organizations, to ensure alignment and smooth implementation of activities.
* Facilitate meetings and visits involving external stakeholders and partners, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
* Work in coordination with the PERU team during emergencies and rapid response situations, ensuring timely and effective support.
* Participate in focus group discussions and community consultations to support needs assessment and activity improvement, informing data-driven decision-making.
* Provide regular updates and reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reports, to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Uphold CODEC's Code of Conduct, safeguarding, PSEA, child protection, confidentiality, and "Do No Harm" principles, promoting a culture of integrity and respect.
