Key Responsibilities
* Drive the implementation of case management interventions for child survivors and children at risk of neglect, abuse, exploitation, and violence, ensuring adherence to guiding principles and relevant guidelines.
* Identify and provide immediate support to physically vulnerable children, documenting cases through regular shed visits and maintaining confidentiality.
* Lead the development and execution of case plans, conducting regular follow-ups and field visits to ensure timely delivery of services and action points.
* Foster strong relationships with community leaders, committees, and humanitarian actors to provide high-quality case management support and services.
* Deliver technical support and training to case management volunteers and community members, promoting awareness of child protection issues and case management referral pathways.
* Design and facilitate workshops and awareness sessions, addressing the needs of the community and promoting child protection.
* Manage and submit monthly reports on case management, including uploading and updating case documentation in CPIMS+.
* Collaborate with the Case Manager to prepare monthly reports and submit weekly individual action plans with accomplishment reports.
* Conduct Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and facilitate BIA interviews as required, ensuring the best interests of children are prioritized.
* Oversee the activities of case management volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective case management.
* Champion safeguarding and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) principles, ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to the Inter-Agency Standing Committee's (IASC) core principles.
* Provide expertise and support on safeguarding, acting as a key source of guidance and support for establishing a safe and respectful work environment.
