Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the establishment and activation of diverse community groups, including male, female, youth, and self-help groups, to foster inclusive participation and decision-making.
* Drive community engagement through regular meetings, focus group discussions, and community consultations to gather insights, build trust, and promote collective action.
* Empower community groups to identify priorities, develop initiatives, and implement community-led projects, ensuring ownership and sustainability.
* Foster a culture of women's leadership, youth participation, and inclusion of persons with specific needs, promoting equal opportunities and social cohesion.
* Architect the development of Youth Environment Clubs, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to drive environmental actions and local initiatives.
* Collaborate with community group members and stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver daily and weekly activities, ensuring effective implementation and follow-up.
* Develop the capacity of community representatives and group members through targeted training, mentorship, and coaching, enhancing their leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Facilitate open communication channels with community group members, addressing challenges, and co-creating practical solutions to promote community well-being.
* Ensure age, gender, and diversity representation within community groups and volunteer teams, upholding organizational values and principles.
* Identify and refer persons of concern with specific needs to relevant service providers, respecting dignity, confidentiality, and informed consent.
* Manage community-level complaints, conflicts, or misconduct through established mechanisms, maintaining transparency, accountability, and fairness.
* Host meetings and field visits for external stakeholders, showcasing community initiatives and promoting partnerships.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases of community groups, members, and activities, ensuring data-driven decision-making and reporting.
* Provide regular progress updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
* Develop and submit comprehensive reports, work plans, and accomplishment reports, meeting organizational and donor requirements.
* Uphold CODEC's Code of Conduct, safeguarding policies, and "Do No Harm" principles, prioritizing the well-being, dignity, and safety of all community members.

Education
- Master’s degree in social science, Disaster management, or any other discipline

- Knowledge of the prevention of environmental pollution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse communities
