Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of vocational training programs, aligning with Competency Standards and Competency-Based Learning Materials, to equip refugee beneficiaries with in-demand skills.
* Architect and implement effective training curricula, leveraging UNHCR-provided guidelines, to drive successful course completion and certification.
* Oversee the enrollment process, ensuring participants meet prequalification criteria, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality training experiences.
* Drive the implementation of assessment and quality assurance procedures, in collaboration with the Skills Development Manager, to maintain exceptional training standards.
* Manage and support the growth of learners, fostering personal and professional development, to achieve successful qualification completion.
* Foster collaborative relationships with peer trainers, technical assistants, and senior officers to share best practices, attend progress meetings, and standardize training approaches.
* Deliver training and skill assessments to Assistant Trainers and Vocational Supervisors, enhancing their capabilities and expertise.
* Coordinate with trainers to ensure seamless monitoring and evaluation, providing actionable insights for program improvement.
* Analyze training needs, gather feedback, and inform future planning, modifying existing programs to meet evolving demands.
* Provide constructive feedback to fellow trainers, supporting their continuous professional development and growth.
* Facilitate connections between former training participants and relevant programs, promoting employment opportunities and skill utilization.
* Develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders, including the Training Center in Charge, to ensure effective program delivery and impact.
* Drive the implementation of the Myanmar Level-1 and Skilling-Up curriculum for the Small Engine Mechanic (SEM) or Automotive trade, delivering specialized training and expertise.
