Key Responsibilities
* Drive end-to-end payroll operations, encompassing salary, benefits, deductions, and bonuses to ensure seamless execution.
* Architect and maintain IT systems and software, collaborating with vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure data security.
* Champion compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and data privacy standards, leading internal and external audits to guarantee adherence.
* Spearhead data integrity and reporting, maintaining accurate employee records, generating payroll reports, and performing reconciliations to ensure precision.
* Innovate and improve payroll processes, implementing and updating policies and automated systems to boost efficiency and productivity.
* Foster strong stakeholder relationships, liaising with HR, Finance, and employees to resolve inquiries and facilitate open communication.
* Calculate and process wages, overtime, bonuses, and benefits in accordance with Bangladesh Labor Law, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensure regulatory compliance, maintaining minimum wage structures, attendance, working hours, and overtime regulations to mitigate risks.
* Oversee attendance, leave records, and shift data, verifying accuracy to guarantee precise payroll processing.
* Manage payroll-related statutory compliance, including provident fund, gratuity, tax, and other deductions to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
* Develop and distribute salary sheets, pay slips, and bank transfer statements, coordinating with the accounts/finance department for timely salary disbursement.
* Maintain meticulous documentation of payroll records, employee salary files, and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
* Provide expert support, resolving employee queries regarding salary, deductions, overtime, and benefits to ensure employee satisfaction.
* Monitor payroll, supplier payments, and financial obligations, identifying areas for improvement to optimize financial performance.
* Lead and supervise the IT team, ensuring efficient workflow, accuracy, and precision to drive business success.
