Key Responsibilities
* Drive compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Factory Act, and national regulations, ensuring a culture of adherence throughout the organization.
* Architect and maintain international social compliance standards, such as BSCI, SEDEX, and ISO, to meet buyer requirements and industry benchmarks.
* Conduct proactive internal audits and inspections to identify non-conformities, recommending corrective measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
* Lead audit preparedness, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless buyer audits, third-party audits, and certification audits.
* Manage audit findings and corrective action plans, tracking progress and ensuring timely closure to maintain a compliant and transparent environment.
* Oversee workplace safety, health, and hygiene standards, collaborating with the EHS team to ensure statutory requirements and company policies are met.
* Develop and implement compliance training programs, promoting awareness and education among workers and staff on labor law, code of conduct, and ethical practices.
* Perform regular floor monitoring, identifying non-compliance issues and recommending operational improvements to drive a culture of compliance.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, audit reports, and regulatory filings, supporting management decisions and buyer requirements.
* Ensure organizational policies, procedures, and processes align with internal standards and legal requirements, driving a culture of compliance and integrity.
* Stay abreast of local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
* Identify and mitigate compliance risks, reporting findings and recommending preventive or corrective actions to maintain a compliant and responsible business environment.
* Design and deliver training sessions on compliance policies, ethical practices, and legal requirements, promoting a culture of awareness and education among employees.
* Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and partners to ensure adherence to compliance standards and contractual obligations, driving a responsible and compliant supply chain.
* Recommend enhancements to policies, procedures, and monitoring systems, strengthening the organization's compliance culture and reputation.
Requirements:
* Age: 27-30 years
* Gender: Male
* Experience: Proven experience in a Compliance role within the garments or garments accessories industry
* Skills: Practical experience in handling buyer audits, social compliance standards, and international compliance certifications
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of Bangladesh Labor Law, international compliance standards, factory compliance, worker welfare, and audit processes.
