Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the technical training institute's operations, aligning with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic objectives to drive growth and excellence. * Architect and implement academic curricula, policies, and calendars that meet NCTB, BTEB, NTVQF, NSDA, and other relevant technical standards, ensuring high-quality education and training. * Drive academic discipline, teaching quality, and mentoring, while overseeing classroom training, workshop-based practical sessions, and resource allocation to deliver exceptional programs. * Ensure seamless examination, assessment, certification, and result publication processes, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency. * Identify industry skill gaps and integrate digital learning tools, modern training methods, and competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) standards to enhance program effectiveness. * Foster a supportive learning environment by conducting classes, providing guidance, and developing an alumni center to facilitate job searches and career development for graduates. * Cultivate strong relationships with industry partners, government bodies, media, and other stakeholders, facilitating visits, collaborations, and resource sharing to benefit the institute and its students. * Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), escalation matrices, and service levels to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery. * Manage admissions, student development activities, and career counseling programs, promoting transparency, fairness, and student success. * Build and maintain industry relationships, promoting institutional branding, community awareness, and job opportunities for students and alumni. * Oversee budget planning, financial management, and resource utilization, ensuring cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability. * Design and implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to measure training effectiveness, learning outcomes, and institutional performance. * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, obtaining and renewing necessary certificates, licenses, and permits to maintain the institute's reputation and credibility. * Lead manpower planning, recruitment, and selection processes, maintaining a talented and dedicated team to drive the institute's success. * Maintain accurate records, prepare periodic reports, and analyze data to inform decision-making, drive improvement, and optimize institutional performance. * Ensure effective administrative management, facility maintenance, and safety and security systems, providing a secure, well-organized, and supportive environment for students, staff, and visitors. * Establish and nurture strong collaborations with industries, employers, BTEB, technical education authorities, and other stakeholders to promote mutual benefit, resource sharing, and institutional growth.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Certification in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) or relevant training management certification
