Key Responsibilities

* Drive the development and implementation of psychosocial support (PSS) activities, leading community and staff consultations to identify mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) gaps and needs. * Architect holistic MHPSS programs for children, families, and communities, informing project design and development with data-driven insights and identified priorities. * Design and adapt PSS resources, curricula, and training modules that are sensitive to gender, age, and ability, incorporating feedback from implementers and stakeholders. * Lead the implementation of MHPSS work plans, including PM+ curricula, self-care modules, and review and feedback workshops, ensuring quality, effectiveness, and relevance of interventions. * Manage the safe and confidential collection, analysis, and reporting of PSS data, in coordination with MEAL and response teams, to inform programming and decision-making. * Foster strong linkages between case management and MHPSS, ensuring a holistic approach to support vulnerable populations. * Represent the organization at the camp MHPSS Working Group, collaborating with GBV teams and other stakeholders to share information, action plans, and best practices. * Develop and deliver training and capacity-building programs for GBV Facilitators, PSS Volunteers, GBV staff, and other stakeholders, focusing on supportive listening skills, psychological first aid, and referral mechanisms. * Provide coaching and mentoring to PSS Volunteers, Case Management Assistants, and GBV Assistants, enhancing their skills and knowledge in MHPSS and PSS interventions. * Offer PSS support to project staff as part of staff care, promoting a culture of well-being and resilience. * Prepare sub-project proposals, purchase requests, and relevant documents to facilitate the implementation of PSS activities, ensuring timely and effective resource allocation.

  • Knowledge on Humanitarian Response
  • Good conceptual and practical skill to write reports
  • Good knowledge and skills on project management
  • Baseline survey, Evaluation and Monitoring process and tools
  • Good facilitation skill of Training, Seminar and Advocacy programs
  • Experience to lead/coordinate Consortium projects
  • Deep knowledge in Structured PSS, disability inclusion, GBV/protection and Wash sector
  • Experience in preparing DIP, ITT, Monitoring plan, procurement plan, Cash flow etc
  • Chittagong/Rohingya and Bengali language skills
  • Very Good command in English both written and verbal
  • Decision making and conflict resolution skills
  • Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
  • Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation
