Asst. Executive/Executive (Transport Operation)

Responsible for coordinating cement transport and dispatch operations by scheduling bulkers and trucks, ensuring timely delivery, monitoring vehicle movement, managing drivers, and coordinating with the packing plant for efficient loading while maintaining compliance with transport laws and company SOPs. Job Responsibilities• Schedule and dispatch bulkers and trucks based on the dispatch plan and cement demand. Ensure proper vehicle allocation for each loading point.• Maintain roster of drivers/helpers, manage attendance, and ensure compliance with license and training requirements. Maintain OT register.• Track vehicle movement via GPS and make real-time route adjustments based on traffic, road closures, or delivery urgency.• Coordinate with the packing plant and loader team to ensure proper loading of cement bags or bulk cement into vehicles.• Prepare trip sheets; maintain transport permits, loading slips, and gate passes; and ensure compliance with local/state transport norms.• Prepare daily reports on dispatch, fuel usage, delivery status, and driver performance.• Report any delays, breakdowns, or accidents immediately. Assist in on-site coordination if required.• Manage daily attendance, leave records, and duty rosters of drivers and helpers. Maintain the overtime register and ensure all drivers possess valid licenses and up-to-date documentation.• Ensure compliance with transport laws and company SOPs while monitoring operational costs such as fuel and tolls. Coordinate vehicle servicing, document renewals, and inspection schedules.
