Key Responsibilities

* Drive community engagement and social cohesion by organizing and facilitating community meetings, dialogues, and awareness sessions that promote peaceful conflict resolution. * Foster collaborative relationships with mediators, Peace Promotion Groups (PPGs), Majhi, and community members to ensure successful project implementation at the camp level. * Mobilize community members, particularly women and vulnerable groups, to participate in project activities and promote inclusive decision-making processes. * Empower mediators and PPGs by providing logistical and communication support, coordinating meeting schedules, and facilitating community sessions that address local conflicts and issues. * Facilitate effective communication and coordination with the Project Associate, local stakeholders, and community members to ensure seamless project execution and address emerging issues. * Lead monitoring and follow-up efforts by tracking ongoing activities, mediation cases, and community feedback, and reporting challenges or issues to the Project Associate. * Manage documentation of community meetings, sessions, and activities, including maintaining attendance sheets and basic records, to support reporting and project evaluation. * Champion safeguarding and inclusion by promoting respectful behavior, ensuring safe participation of all groups, and reporting any safeguarding or protection concerns to the Project Associate. * Architect and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, beneficiaries, and local stakeholders to ensure the project's social cohesion and conflict resolution objectives are met.

Requirements

Education

  • Higher Secondary
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • HSC / Bachelor’s Degree

Additional

  • Basic understanding of community dynamics
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in mediation, community engagement, and social cohesion activities
  • Ability to work closely with diverse community groups
