* Lead the development of end-to-end Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) pipelines, integrating real-time video analytics, AI-driven decision systems, and high-performance desktop applications. * Architect and optimize real-time computer vision systems, leveraging expertise in detection, tracking, and event generation to drive actionable insights. * Drive the design and development of high-performance Python desktop applications, utilizing PyQt/PySide to deliver seamless multi-stream video monitoring, real-time analytics visualization, and intuitive configuration and control systems. * Develop and maintain low-latency, high-throughput processing pipelines, ensuring efficient handling of continuous video streams and optimal system performance. * Engineer and optimize AI models, such as YOLO, DETR, and Detectron, to achieve optimal accuracy vs latency trade-offs and production-ready performance. * Design and implement AI-driven decision systems, combining computer vision outputs with rules and higher-level logic to drive informed decision-making. * Integrate AI systems with external infrastructure, APIs, and backend services, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange. * Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, optimizing performance across CPU, GPU, memory, I/O, and rendering pipelines to ensure stable and fault-tolerant systems. * Manage the productionization of systems, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and production-ready, with capabilities to handle stream failures, noisy data, and long runtimes. * Foster a culture of engineering discipline, writing clean, modular, and maintainable code, and documenting system architecture, pipelines, and technical decisions to drive knowledge sharing and collaboration.
