Key Responsibilities
* Drive community engagement through the formation of various groups, fostering a culture of child protection and promoting project activities.
* Collaborate with Social Welfare Officers and local government authorities to enhance the Department of Social Services (DSS) case management process, ensuring seamless referrals and support.
* Architect responsive activities for adolescents in conjunction with WPE, ERD, and PRoL staff, addressing their unique needs and promoting holistic development.
* Lead field visits, identifying new cases, monitoring child protection situations, and taking prompt action in emergency case management situations to ensure timely interventions.
* Analyze community situations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted initiatives to strengthen child protection mechanisms.
* Facilitate regular meetings with Community-Based Child Protection Committees (CBCPC) and adolescent clubs, promoting awareness about DSS services, child rights, and community-led protection initiatives.
* Support the establishment and activation of CBCPC and adolescent clubs, empowering community members to take ownership of child protection efforts.
* Partner with local authorities, community leaders, NGOs, UN agencies, and government bodies to coordinate child protection efforts, ensuring a unified and effective response.
* Manage data collection, reporting, and submission processes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and ensuring safe and ethical data management practices.
* Develop and submit comprehensive work plans and reports, detailing project progress, challenges, and successes, and informing future programmatic decisions.
* Maintain meticulous administrative and documentation processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and donor requirements.
* Organize stakeholder meetings, fostering collaboration and communication among key actors, and promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)case management software or databases
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor degree in development studies, Sociology/ Social science, law
Additional
- Only Female
- Experience in Child protection programs
- Successful in mobilizing community resources
- Knowledgeable about IPT theatre show conduction
- Capable of strengthening community structures
- Able to provide immediate support in an emergency
- Outstanding communication skills
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Bengali
- Knowledge of Chattertonian dialects is an advantage
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Consolidated Salary: 22000 BDT
