* Spearhead inventory management by implementing a robust stock system, ensuring accurate recording and tracking of all receipts and issues. * Drive data accuracy by maintaining up-to-date store ledger books, processing software postings, and generating reports to meet management requirements. * Lead physical inventory checks, cycle counts, and audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify discrepancies. * Develop and execute strategic inventory management plans, aligning with company goals to optimize working capital, control costs, and minimize waste. * Architect and implement store management policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure efficient storage, handling, and movement of materials and products. * Manage material requisitions, ensuring timely and authorized issuance of stock, and coordinate with the Accounts Department for seamless operations. * Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies, investigating shortages and overstocks to optimize stock levels and eliminate redundant or obsolete materials. * Foster a safe and secure store environment, maintaining discipline and adherence to safety protocols. * Generate and submit timely, accurate, and professional reports, providing insights to inform business decisions and drive process improvements. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement inventory management strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives and budget constraints. * Optimize inventory storage and handling processes, ensuring efficient use of space and resources, and maintaining a well-organized inventory floor area.
