Manager - Accounts and Finance

* Spearhead the finance and accounts function, driving seamless day-to-day operations, including general accounts, payables, receivables, cash management, and inventory accounting. * Architect and implement effective fund planning, cash flow management, and cost control strategies to optimize financial performance. * Deliver accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. * Lead and professionalize the accounts and finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and adherence to company standards. * Navigate tax, VAT, audit, and regulatory compliance matters, ensuring alignment with local rules, company policies, and international standards (IASs, IFRSs, ISAs). * Collaborate with external auditors, NBR, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions. * Develop and maintain relationships with banks, providing financial insights and recommendations to management to inform strategic decision-making. * Drive the annual budgeting process, performing monthly variance analysis to monitor departmental spending and identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency. * Identify and capitalize on opportunities for financial optimization, providing actionable recommendations to management. * Build and maintain a strong understanding of Bangladesh customs duty, income tax act, VAT act, company's act, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. * Provide expert guidance and support to the management team on financial planning, feasibility analysis, and financial decision-making, aligned with Bangladesh financial policy. * Foster a culture of compliance, ensuring timely submission of statutory and regulatory returns, and coordinating with internal and external auditors to address any findings or concerns.
