Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the development and implementation of effective educational programs to enhance teaching and learning outcomes at SIMT. * Lead and mentor departmental teachers, providing guidance on curriculum planning, classroom management, and institutional policies. * Drive the creation of syllabi, lesson plans, and exam schedules, ensuring alignment with institutional standards and objectives. * Manage class load distribution, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to institutional policies. * Foster a supportive learning environment by monitoring teacher performance, providing feedback, and addressing areas for improvement. * Collaborate with the admissions team to achieve 100% student enrollment, streamlining the admissions process and ensuring a seamless experience for students and parents. * Oversee the maintenance of accurate records, including attendance, lesson plans, and notices, to ensure institutional accountability and transparency. * Counsel parents and guardians on student progress, addressing concerns and providing guidance on supporting student development. * Architect and execute annual programs, such as science fairs, cultural events, and debates, to promote student engagement and holistic development. * Uphold institutional integrity by addressing disciplinary issues, promoting a culture of respect, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies. * Facilitate teacher-parent meetings and result day events, fostering open communication and collaboration between stakeholders. * Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance teacher effectiveness and student outcomes. * Stay abreast of academic developments, integrating best practices and innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and ensuring that both teachers and students benefit from institutional initiatives. * Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to institutional goals.
