Key Responsibilities
* Drive community engagement and social cohesion by mobilizing local civil society organizations (CSOs) and facilitating their participation in project activities.
* Lead the implementation of training and capacity-building initiatives for CSOs, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
* Facilitate the dissemination of key learnings and best practices among CSO representatives, promoting a culture of sharing and collaboration.
* Coordinate activities through multi-purpose centers (MPCs), fostering a sense of community ownership and social responsibility.
* Conduct thorough assessments and provide accurate feedback to inform project decisions and improve overall impact.
* Deliver training sessions on critical topics such as peace mediation, conflict resolution, GBV, and communication, leveraging expertise in DRR and livelihood development.
* Foster strong relationships with local administration, CiC, and other stakeholders, ensuring regular communication and updates on project progress.
* Architect and support the organization of training, meetings, sessions, and community awareness activities, promoting inclusive and participatory approaches.
* Facilitate interactive sessions at the field and household levels, engaging with community members and promoting social cohesion in the FDMN/Hnila area.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with CBO/CSO members, ensuring close interaction and regular communication to address their needs and concerns.
* Collect, compile, and integrate data using digital tools and equipment, informing project decisions and ensuring data-driven approaches.
* Participate in Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions and refreshers, cascading knowledge and skills to CBOs and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
* Collaborate with project staff to ensure seamless cooperation with CSOs in Camps/Hnila UP, driving collective impact and social change.
* Co-facilitate sessions and activities, leveraging expertise in conflict management, communication, and adaptability to promote social cohesion and community resilience.
* Engage in regular discussions with CiCs, Upazila officials, and other key stakeholders, promoting the participation of women, youth, and marginalized groups in project activities.
* Champion the principles of inclusive governance, adaptive social cohesion, and human rights, driving a culture of respect, empathy, and social responsibility within the project and broader community.

Additional
- HSC/bachelor’s degree/Degree pass in social work, Social Science, Development Studies
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in humanitarian or development programs
- Prior experience in protection, DRR, gender-based programming, or community engagement
- Familiarity with the Chittagonian language and local socio-cultural dynamics
- Familiarity with Cox’s Bazar context
- Experience with peace, protection, DRR, Livelihood, mediation, CBO/CSO
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of local community structures
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
