Trainee Officer- Supply Chain

• Spearhead raw material sourcing by collaborating with Merchandising and Development teams to gather requirements and technical documents. • Drive supplier identification, product development, and sample acquisition for trims and accessories, ensuring seamless integration into the production process. • Conduct rigorous quality checks on samples and facilitate approval from buyers and management, ensuring adherence to quality standards. • Compile and maintain a comprehensive database of supplier quotations, including pricing, lead times, payment terms, and delivery modes. • Architect comparative statements, negotiate prices, and secure management approval to optimize procurement decisions. • Receive and process order documents, including BOM, TNA, and Spec Sheets, to facilitate bulk booking and procurement. • Manage raw material inventory by tracking stock levels, generating bookings, and creating purchase orders against approved invoices. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Accounts and Commercial, to streamline payment processing and ensure timely settlements. • Lead follow-up efforts with suppliers, Commercial, and C&F teams to ensure timely shipment, clearance, and in-house delivery of materials. • Monitor material receipt status, analyze inventory reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve quality or shortage issues, ensuring uninterrupted production workflows.
