Key Responsibilities
* Drive compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, ILS, and buyer's code of conduct requirements, ensuring seamless audits and inspections.
* Architect a high-performing Compliance team, equipping them with the skills to excel in internal and external audits, including BSCI, Sedex, GOTS, OCS, RSC, and HIGG audits.
* Spearhead the development of audit CAPs and maintain meticulous compliance records, fostering transparent communication with government offices and compliance organizations.
* Foster a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace by overseeing safety, hygiene, and environmental operations.
* Lead strategic recruitment, manpower planning, and talent management initiatives to fuel factory operations and drive business growth.
* Develop and implement organizational strategies, identifying and addressing HR issues, and aligning HR objectives with company policies and goals.
* Manage HR and training activities, including succession planning, performance appraisals, and budgeting, to drive employee engagement and development.
* Navigate employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
* Motivate and inspire staff, cultivating strong relationships between workers and management, and driving a culture of excellence.
* Design and update the company's organizational structure, SOPs, and manpower planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Conduct market research and analysis to inform wages and benefits, ensuring the company remains competitive and attractive to top talent.
* Provide exceptional office administration support, ensuring seamless organizational and staff management.
* Uphold discipline and chain of command within the factory, overseeing access control, time attendance, security, and emergency procedures.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and government agencies, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.
* Ensure all legal compliance documents are up-to-date and readily available, mitigating risk and ensuring regulatory adherence.
* Collaborate with management teams and department heads, providing coordination and support to drive business outcomes.
* Organize official meetings, supervise subordinate staff, and ensure the effective functioning of worker participation committees and grievance mechanisms.
