Key Responsibilities

* Drive the development of a robust monitoring, evaluation, and reporting framework to enhance accountability, efficiency, and learning within the Urban Development Programme. * Lead the implementation of systematic monitoring processes to track programme progress, outcomes, and immediate results in target towns and cities. * Architect and manage a suite of indicators, questionnaires, and data collection tools to identify monitoring issues and inform programme improvement. * Conduct comprehensive surveys, stakeholder consultations, in-depth interviews, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions to gather qualitative and quantitative data. * Analyze and disseminate monitoring findings to relevant staff and stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making and programme refinement. * Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date databases and data management systems to support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities. * Develop and implement effective data visualization and reporting strategies to communicate programme outcomes and impact to diverse stakeholders. * Collaborate with programme teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions, ensuring continuous programme enhancement and optimization. * Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and learning within the programme, promoting the use of monitoring and evaluation findings to inform programme design and implementation. * Drive the development of high-quality, informative reports and other knowledge products, showcasing programme achievements and lessons learned to internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

Data management systemsM&E concepts and toolsProgramme/project cycle management

Education

  • Master of Development Studies (MDS)
  • Master’s degree in Statistics/Development Studies/Environmental Science/Urban Planning, or a related field

Additional

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of M&E concepts and tools
  • Knowledge of programme/project cycle management and development
  • Proven expertise in data management systems such as Salesforce, TaroWorks, and KoboToolbox
  • Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Problem-solving mindset
