Assistant Manager- Fire & Safety

* Drive compliance with fire safety regulations, ensuring adherence to BNBC 2020, NFPA, and RSC/buyer requirements across all fire safety designs, materials, and installations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil, electrical, and mechanical, to integrate fire safety systems and promote a culture of workplace safety. * Oversee the installation of fire protection and detection systems, verifying that they meet approved drawings and specifications. * Conduct rigorous inspections to ensure the quality and code compliance of fire-related materials and workmanship. * Architect and execute testing and commissioning plans for fire protection and detection systems, witnessing and verifying their successful implementation. * Develop and deliver fire safety training programs, organizing regular fire drills to equip factory employees with essential skills and knowledge. * Manage relationships with Fire Service, RSC, and buyer inspections, addressing safety observations and ensuring timely closure of any identified issues. * Leverage technical expertise to stay up-to-date with industry standards, including NFPA, BNBC, and RSC, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in fire safety systems. * Utilize proficiency in AutoCAD to design and develop fire safety systems, and apply strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex compliance challenges. * Lead and coordinate teams to achieve shared goals, fostering a strong safety mindset and promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
