Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead financial operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and banking transactions to drive fiscal excellence. * Architect and deliver timely financial statements and reports, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making. * Drive budget development and cost control, ensuring alignment with hospital objectives and optimizing resource allocation. * Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and inform data-driven decision-making. * Champion procurement excellence, leading the acquisition of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and supplies while ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. * Develop and implement procurement policies and standard operating procedures, fostering a culture of transparency and compliance. * Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and evaluating supplier performance to ensure best-in-class partnerships. * Ensure competitive bidding processes and maintain the highest standards of transparency and integrity in all procurement activities. * Foster a culture of compliance, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and hospital policies to mitigate risk and maintain stakeholder trust. * Design and implement internal control systems, preventing fraud and financial mismanagement while maintaining accurate documentation and records. * Collaborate with internal and external auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes and implementing recommendations for continuous improvement. * Optimize inventory control, avoiding shortages and overstocking while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with store and logistics teams for efficient supply chain flow. * Conduct regular asset verification, maintaining a comprehensive fixed asset register and ensuring accurate accounting and reporting. * Monitor and optimize treasury and cash flow management, recommending investment strategies for surplus funds and ensuring alignment with hospital objectives. * Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance and procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. * Develop and present financial and procurement reports to senior management and the Board, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, aligning financial goals with hospital objectives and driving strategic decision-making to achieve operational excellence.

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance / Accounting / Supply Chain Management
  • Master's degree in Finance / Accounting / Supply Chain Management

Additional

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance & Procurement
  • At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Preferably in a hospital or healthcare organization
  • Experience in healthcare finance and medical procurement
  • Knowledge of HIS integration with accounting modules
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong command over MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Expertise in procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Sound understanding of tax laws and financial compliance in Bangladesh
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • High level of integrity and transparency in financial dealings
