Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead regulatory compliance across pharmaceutical operations, ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements * Architect and execute Drug License applications, renewals, and documentation with the Directorate General of Drug Administration * Drive environmental compliance by securing and maintaining Environmental Clearance Certificates, ETP approvals, and Department of Environment adherence * Oversee the licensing, operation, and reporting of Effluent Treatment Plants, guaranteeing seamless functioning and record-keeping * Foster collaborative relationships with government agencies to facilitate inspections, audits, and approvals * Develop and submit regulatory reports, documentation, and compliance files, ensuring timely and accurate submissions * Maintain a centralized repository of all licenses, permits, and certificates, ensuring easy access and updates * Ensure factory-wide compliance with local laws and regulations, including Labour Law, Fire Safety, and Environmental rules * Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Production, QA, Engineering, and HR, to address compliance concerns and implement corrective actions * Champion ISO and GMP audit readiness by developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation and supporting audit preparations

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science / Public Administration or relevant field/ BBA or MBA – HR
  • Certification/training in Environmental Management or Regulatory Affairs

Additional

  • 3–5 years (Executive)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with: Drug License (DGDA), Environmental Clearance (DoE), ETP Compliance & Reporting
  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh regulatory frameworks
  • Must be proficient in writing accurate notes in both Bangla and English
  • Good communication and government liaison skills
  • Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
